Welcome, Scribe!

    You’ve been entrusted with penning the tale for a member of the Order of Rodentia. As you can imagine, being tasked with recounting a life’s story is an honor. The Order and the Sentient Squirrel thank you for dictating this narration and we look forward to reading the adventures our dear friends have been on since leaving Feòrag Grove!

    Please read the following submission guidelines. Any memoirs that don't comply, may not be included within the Order's history tomes.

    Story/photo guidelines:
    1. Submissions must be 1000 words or less.
    2. Submissions must be original stories. 
    3. Submissions may not be explicit in a sexual or violent nature.
    4. Submissions that contain any bigotry or racism will be automatically rejected/deleted.
    5. Submissions may be edited for grammar, spelling, punctuation, continuity, conciseness, etc.
    6. Any photos must be clear and adhere to the prior mentioned guidelines.
    7. Photos may be edited at the discretion of the Sentient Squirrel. Edits will be limited to size/brightness/contrast adjustments.​
    8. Photos submitted with any persons under the age of 18, will be edited by The Sentient Squirrel to hide the child/minors identity. 
    9. Only one photo per submission.
    10. Photos must be submitted in jpeg format.
    11. Each villager will have a numbered postcard when sent on their journey. Submissions must include the villager's number which can be found in the top right hand corner on the back of their postcard. This is considered proof of purchase. Stories submitted without new photos or proof of purchase will not be considered for the website. This activity is solely for those who've adopted/been gifted Feòrag Grove villagers. 

      Submission/Legal guidelines:
    1. Submitted stories/photos grant the implied permission for the files to be posted on the public website www.thesentientsquirrel.com.
    2. You will not be monetarily/or otherwise compensated for your participation.
    3. Participation is voluntary and purely for entertainment purposes.
    4. The Order of Rodentia/Feòrag Grove are intellectual property of The Sentient Squirrel and its proprietors and may NOT be used/recreated without WRITTEN legal permission. ALL COPYRIGHTS RESERVED.
    5. Writing credits will be given when applicable or supplied by submitter. Stories posted to the website can be anonymous if so chosen by the applicant.​
